Here is all the information you require for the upcoming season of Jujutsu Kaisen, which will be released in a few weeks.

Jujutsu Kaisen was released a year ago, and now it's time for season 2 to be broadcast. On July 6, 2023, fans will be able to learn more about it. Although the number of episodes is not yet known, the producers have stated that they will be shown in two back-to-back sections over a period of six months. Therefore, based on the last season, we may infer that there will be 24 episodes.

The manga's Chapter 64 will be adapted for Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2's two parts. A flashback of Gojo's character will be featured in the first 12 episodes. For this arc, the interaction between Geto and the Exorcism Professor is crucial. Both of them will be sent on an assignment, but nothing goes as expected, and Toji Fushiguro, an exorcist murderer, will get in their way in an effort to kill our protagonist. The start of the "Drama of Shibuya" arc, one of the manga's strongest parts, could be adapted for the second half of the season.

About ten years before the events of the first season, in 2006, the first part's events take place. The primary characters of this arc, Gojo and Geto, are still studying at the school of exorcism at this point. The second section brings us back to the present. The Shibuya incident occurs on October 31, while the Twinned High Schools Tournament takes place between late September and early October 2018.

Jujustu Kaisen is still being handled by Mappa Studios. However, the director is no longer Sunghoo Park, who left the company to found E&H Production, his own animation studio. Shota Goshozono will consequently helm Season 2. Among his notable credits are Kaguya-sama: Love is War, Mob Psycho 100, and Chainsaw Man. The opening is titled Ao no Sumika by Tatsuya Kitani, and the conclusion is titled Akari and is written by Soushi Sakiyama.
