The "Le Continental" series is about to bring the "John Wick" universe to television after four widely watched movies. Learn about fresh depictions of the program based on Chad Stahelski's cult story.

John Wick: From Big to Small Screen

David Leitch and Chad Stahelski, a stunt team, began directing John Wick in 2014. An amazing action movie that gave Keanu Reeves a new sense of youth and approached the choreography in a muscular and artistic way. The movie quickly gains cult status, and Keanu Reeves' performance as John Wick comes to symbolize the actor's career. Four movies have been released since 2014; the most recent one did so in March of last year. The four films collectively earned more than $1 billion at the global box office.

Lionsgate wants to keep generating revenue from the John Wick universe in light of this exponential success. Several projects have been announced using this reasoning. John Wick 5 is already available and in the boxes. Ballerina is the name of Len Wiseman's spin-off of the Ana de Armas directed license. Finally, a series set in the Continental will soon be released.

The Continental: initial photos

The Continental, a miniseries created by Chris Collins, Derek Kolstad, and Chad Stahelski, will examine the history of the infamous assassins' hotel. It serves as the hub of the John Wick world and is a location with a rich history, harsh regulations, and increasing significance as the series progresses. The Continental, which is set in the 1970s, tells Winston Scott's origin story. Ian McShane portrays Winston Scott in the quadrilogy. Basil Iwanyk, the series' executive producer, explained that:

"All four Wick movies take place over a 3 month period. John is suing or being sued. There is no time to catch their breath, to allow the audience to delve deeper into this world. The Continental series gives us the space to explore these characters, how they came to be, and how The Continental became the epicenter of this world".

Three episodes make up the miniseries The Continental. In terms of casting, we are aware that Mel Gibson will play a character by the name of Cormac and that Colin Woodell will play young Winston. Hubert Point-du-Jour, Mishel Prada, and Peter Greene make up the rest of the cast. The Continental will likely arrive in September. We now leave you with the first pictures in the collection.
